The drive along Route 16 in Fayette County is filled with an abundance of waterfalls. Along this river route you will find the remains of the Beckwith Mill, age and history unknown. Christmas lights still decorating the windows on this May afternoon, the mill itself is in a bad state of disrepair. An old gas sation sits roadside with a bridge that leads across the river to the mill. Good views hard to obtain without including the surrounding houses, it may be worth while to try and scale down the bank to the base of the water. a better perspective may be had.
